Pff, you're all crazy. Short bow is teh uber sexy...

Half Moons are okay (I have one too), but I grow tired of looking at them, and it seems every ranger has one nowadays. I also like the "Mursaat" Hornbow, dyed silver or black. It's purdy.

My ranger atm has these:
15>50 Shortbow req. 9 (my fave)
14>50 Half Moon req. 8
14>50 Mursaat Hornbow req. 8
15>50 Feathered Longbow req. 9

All customized...

I found the Half Moon, and got the Mursaat for 80K from this guy and they all perform exactly the same (14-15% virtually identical, even 12%+ all basically the same). I'm going to probably collect 14/15's of all bows sometime in the near future...just for kicks mainly.

And about the Hornbow performance - one would be crazy not to use IAS with these. That makes up for them having the slowest refire. They do have innate 10% AP and have their uses, trust me.

The thing about being a ranger is you can't limit yourself to just one bow...

I personally prefer the "Flesh" or "Claw" Horned Bow... It looks cool without looking stupid... That however is JUST MY OPINION!

Performance-wise in PvE, The Flatbow is probably the best choice seeing as depending on how far you are from a target you can overcome it's biggest drawback (flight time). Unfortunately, outside of Drago's Flat Bow, they all look horrible.

I personally like to stay away from the ethereal weapons because I find they're a little gaudy and garish for my tastes. I like Feathered Long Bows because they dye well to match your armor, which is a plus.

i will have to say feathered longbow and half moon are my favorites. they not only look good, but they also perform well. also, i'm starting to take a liking to the recurve bow. it's the one with the extra metallic attachments that look like they were added to strengthen the bow.

- Flesh Horn or Mursaat Horn

that would be my dream set...

Bleh, Dead Bows are hideous...

And Flatbows are teh suck unless you have FW up, then they are good. But I myself would probably never use one.

Well, if you use a Flatbow at Short Bow range you'll find that the horrible arc is really quite negligible:P But yes, FV/RTW helps a hell of a lot. All things considered, I'd have to cast my vote for the Flatbow being the most versatile if you were only going to use -one- bow.

Shadow bows with decent mods work good too, kinda on the ugly side but still decent. Thats my opinion though.

there are only two "good looking" 0.5 flight time bows... being Dead Bows and Eternal Bows... i'd take either one tbh... but i think Dead Bows look kooler

I want the best preformance wise for PvP and a diffrent one for pve but Ill probaly be running most of the time in pve so Ill probaly use something else in running. I know each bow has its good parts and its bad parts but I prefer speed and range which there is none of unless you use skills, unless I am wrong.?

Flatbow is fast and long, too bad the flight time blows without a buff like FW/RTW. Use a Short(vamp) and a Long(sundering) in PvP and the same in PvE.
